Think of this as your ultimate hotel reference guide. The best part is that all of these hotels are within walking distance of Peloton.
During a 2022 trip to NYC, I was offered a marketing collaboration by Park Central Hotel NYC. We LOVED our stay here, so much so that I booked the hotel again with my friend for our visit in September. The only downside to Park Central Hotel is that it is a 37 minute walk to Peloton Studios NY, or a 16 minute ride by car. We didn’t think much of this during our first visit, however during my 2023 visit, NYC experienced sideways rain and lots of aerial flooding. During this time of extreme rain, it was extremely difficult to hire any Lyft/Uber — none of them were available or taking many jobs on the app. I also found it nearly impossible to hail a yellow taxi the good ‘ol fashioned way. Needless to say, when it was time to plan the details of our March 2024 travel, I needed to find a hotel that was within closer walking distance to Peloton Studios.
I took to the Denis’ Menaces Facebook group, as well as the #BooCrew Facebook group to ask for recommendations. I even consulted Peloton members on Reddit. The communities had some really great suggestions! Here are the best hotels near Peloton Studios NY as recommended by Peloton members.

1. Arlo Midtown

Walking time to Peloton Studios NY: 12 minutes, .5 miles
Arlo Midtown is a four star boutique hotel located on the edge of Midtown, next to Hell’s Kitchen and Hudson Yards. You can find many positive reviews on Google (currently at a 4.4 star rating with 1,041 reviews and counting) , although none are as in-depth as this review turned blog post that I authored. What makes this hotel different than other hotels near Peloton Studios NY
Arlo Midtown NYC is one of my favorite hotels near Peloton Studios NY. Arlo features an onsite modern-American fare restaurant, serving both breakfast and dinner, a rooftop bar, fitness center, and a coffeeshop all under one roof. 😉 In addition, there are several cozy sitting areas and meeting spaces inviting you to spend some free time relaxing in the lobby. Arlo offers a dedicated luggage room with an attendant. And let’s not forget the SMART ELEVATORS! (This was my first experience with Smart Elevators and it was so cool. I felt like a total nerd. You wave your room key over the control panel and the elevator that is called brings you *automatically* to the correct floor. No button pushing here.

The room options at Arlo Midtown are king, king with outdoor terrace, two double and terrace two double. These options are also available in accessible rooms and you can choose between an urban view or city view of each room type. For travelers who enjoy additional space, accessible king suites are available as well.

There are many, many restaurants within walking distance of Arlo Mitown NYC. Our favorites during our stay were Patiala Indian Grill and HeyYuet (dim sum). We tried a pizza restaurant which was good, but nothing to rave about. Fresh from Hell is always my favorite stop and a must regardless of which hotel we reside in for a few days. Fresh from Hell offers acai bowls, smoothies, and fresh pressed juices. We enjoy the walk over and the neighborhood. However, if you are pressed for time or don’t wish to leave the hotel, Fresh from Hell will deliver to the hotel.

What makes this hotel different
Stay Pineapple is an ‘out of the ordinary hotel’ that prides itself on offering the ‘naked experience’. The decor at StayPineapple is definitely more eccentric than you’ll find at the Hyatt down the street. The rooms are adorned with zebra print rugs, vibrant colored pillows, and cute pineapple decor. The Naked Experience is described on their website as “a cozy, fresh, cuddly, luxurious, sleep-so-well, you-don’t-remember-it night.”

The rooms at Stay Pineapple all have a maximum occupancy of two guests. Almost all of the rooms are furnished with one king bed, however there is also a one queen option as well. Available rooms are: Fashonista King, Jewel Box Queen, Celebrity King, Glamour King Mobility, and Terrace Cosmo King.
