Charleston Muralist

A Charleston muralist, creating memorable interiors for your home and your business

There is something about mural art versus framed wall art. Both have their place, not every wall can be a mural (unless you’re unhinged and if you are, let’s chat) and not every wall makes sense for framed art. Maybe you know you’d like to transform your space, but you’re lacking ideas and direction. Consulting with a Charleston muralist (hi 🙂 is a great way to explore opportunities for your space(s)!

Murals transform spaces

Murals tend to completely transform how a room feels. You’re stepping into the art, the art has become the space and the space has become the art. Mural art is an immersive experience that elevates the design of a space, producing so much more than a pleasant aesthetic.

When you go from wall art to mural art, you’re going from decor to a statement that you can feel.

Mural art available in Charleston and nationwide

If you are interested in transforming your space with a mural, send an email to la@chucktownart.com with basic details regarding your mural idea, the room/space type, and the space dimensions. Each project is thoughtfully planned and outlined from concept to finished design.

I am available to travel outside of Charleston, SC. Travel and lodging expenses will be included in the overall pricing of your mural.

Mural pricing

Every project is unique, so there are no set pricing parameters or mural packages. Most murals will start at $35 per square foot and may go up from there depending on the size and complexity of the project.

All paint and any other necessary materials are the art buyer’s responsibility. I will price and source all materials using the retainer fee, any remaining materials balance will be applied to the remaining balance of the project.

What is the process?

First, we’ll connect on the details (style of mural, colors, placement, timeline). I can always provide color swatches, unless you have specific colors already in mind.

Once the ‘vision’ is clear between us, I will create a sample ‘mural’ design on canvas for your approval. We can make any adjustments as needed.

After test approval, we will schedule our first painting date and go from there!

Let’s connect

Even if you are at the beginning stages of considering a mural for your space, let’s get in touch. I can help you take a loose idea and refine it. Send me a note: la@chucktownart.com.

Not ready for a mural quite yet?

It’s okay to tiptoe your way into murals. Wall art can be a good place to start. If you like the idea of murals but aren’t quite sure you’re ready to make the commitment, I recommend hanging wall art that matches the style of mural you might like to see on your wall someday. Hang it in that space for a while to get a feel for it. Sometimes it’s about getting the right design in place first, and that can take time. Check the original art that I’ve created here.
